What does this mean for you?
We must now handle this type of waste in strict way, resulting in the cost of handling and disposal drastically changing. For clarity, this guidance relates to the following items of WUDS:

A surcharge for disposal of these items through our skip hire service is:

These surcharges are subject to the WUDS being separate from other waste if part of a mixed load and/or not at risk of contaminating the other waste within the load (i.e., wrapped).

These prices will come into effect from Wednesday 1st February 2023.

For our skip hire customers, our terms and conditions of sale and relevant surcharges will be applied where POPs waste does not contaminate other waste if mixed together i.e. appropriate
care is taken to ensure the seating is not damaged prior to or when loaded.

We fully appreciate that this is an unwelcome change in the current economic climate, but the guidance will have a significant impact on the industry nationwide and we must respond to the legislation accordingly.
